At all ages, the spatial density of each ChAT-IR cell population in the central retina was higher than in the periphery. In both central and peripheral regions, the peak density of ChAT-IR cells in the GCL was attained at E20. Our results demonstrate that ChAT immunoreactivity is expressed in early developmental stages in the rat retina, as in other mammals, and that acetylcholine released from ChAT-IR cells may have neurotrophic functions in retinal maturation. As revealed by immunocytochemistry with antisera against choline acetyltransferase (ChAT), which is the rate-limiting enzyme for the synthesis of ACh, the distribution and morphology of mammalian cholinergic amacrine cells is consistent across species. (1998a) claimed that cholinergic amacrine cells of the rat retina were already labeled by antisera against ChAT during early postnatal development. For this purpose, antiserum against ChAT was applied to radial vibratome sections of the retina and to retinal wholemount preparations. Any messages she types in at the chat room will display instantly on the monitors of all of the people in the chat room at that time. Since teens are sometimes selective about with whom they will communicate in IM or chat and sometimes take on “fake” personalities, librarians need to consider the impact on a library’s IM or chat service. Since most chat rooms require that one or more people in the room take the lead in order to keep chatters on topic, libraries should find ways to integrate chat as a means of helping teens learn leadership and facilitation skills. It is what enables the actions, the thoughts, the feelings of the actors, to really bloom. There’s an energy that is a combined energy. Whatever energy the audience brings in to that particular performance, whatever they’ve gone through that day, whatever problems, whatever thoughts, whatever joys and sorrows they’ve gone through that day, they bring that. So we want plays that are going to activate that energy in a palpable way.
