Each critical component in the Cisco Intelligent Contact Management (ICM) system periodically sends short messages through the network in order to indicate that ICM is still on line. This behavior is part of the ICM fault−tolerant design. Loss of heartbeats can occur in any version of ICM or on any Compaq server that utilizes the Compaq Survey Utility. The Status section of this document provides a list of Compaq servers and Microsoft operating systems that this problem affects. The executables remain in the \Compaq\Survey directory so that you can still run the Survey Utility.
