To me pictures need writing and writing needs pictures.
A child once called me a picture writer, and that's a good way to describe
me.
Let's say I want to create a caterpillar: I cut out a circle for the
head from a red tissue paper and many ovals for the body from green
tissue papers; and then I paste them with wallpaper glue onto an illustration
board to make the picture.

Almost any picture you can find can be used as a desktop---you can have a photo or drawing, or you can have a repeating (tiling) pattern.
The quick and dirty method is to right-click on the image and then click again on "Set as Wallpaper."
It's insanely easy to do: Just click the right button on your mouse while you're on the desktop, mouse down to "New", and then mouse over to "Folder" and click.
Right-click on the pic you want and select "Save Picture As."
Then, in the window that pops up, type a sensible and recognizable name for the image---say, "Girl With Gun."

The EDSF study looks at about 100 types of printed product in 13 categories, from books to newspapers to journals to transaction documents to wallpaper---everything that is reproduced on paper substrates.
By understanding each of the components of print, especially since each one has a different "future" and a different scenario, the total of each of the components should provide a glimpse into tomorrow.

There are about 185 active current participants, 56 of them in Wake County.
TSE collects about 5-7 tons of discarded materials from about 40 businesses a week, or about 300 tons of discards annually.
