unlikely entrepreneurial spinoff: bricks-and-mortar middlemen of the kind
many thought Web retailing would force out of business. The drop-off stores,
including newly minted chains such as AuctionDrop, ISold It, QuikDrop, AuctionWagon
and Pictureitsold, charge a commission to handle EBay auctions for people
who are unwilling or unable to do it themselves. The stores are important

It's sort of hard to turn off a web site, but we did pull down most
of our eBay auctions while we were gone. Now for a bit of news: I have presented
at several selling-on-eBay seminars and run a couple of my own with pretty
good results. The plan is a four-day advanced eBay selling seminar combined

(also known as "Auth & Auth"). This purpose of Auth & Auth is to
help a third party application or service authenticate an eBay user without
revealing any personally identifiable user information. Since that time,
we have received a tremendous amount of feedback from those developers analyzing
the requirements and trying to integrate this important feature. As we have
indicated via our forums and many conversations with the eBay developer
community, we quickly recognized the shortcomings of the original product
plan and worked overtime to find better solutions for all types of applications.

email your account information to them. It is very uncommon for any online
organization (banks, sellers, credit card companies, etc.) to ask you to
email your account information to them. Here are a few tips to help YOU
keep YOUR identity! If something looks suspicious, take the time to call
the company yourself and ask if they need to speak to you regarding your
account. Check out the "Privacy and Security Sections" of your institutions
website. Be cautious, and be aware of your accounts and your account information.
When purchasing things online, look for the "Verisign" symbol, or another
company that is protecting and verifying your purchases. "Real" companies
are more likely to have a third party vendor protecting your personal information

today that is meant to instill confidence in shoppers on eBay -- the Web
auction site that does a booming business but engenders such a fear of fraud
