This graduate-level course requires participation in the Fulbright Memorial Fund Master Teacher Program, Professional Development Sessions and in the related practicum/exchange visits activities.
The Professional Development Sessions combine lectures, discussions, and laboratory experiences to prepare U.S. and Japanese teachers to use Internet and Multimedia technology to conduct collaborative environmental education projects with partner schools in the two countries.
During the summer exchange visit, participants work with their counterparts to design curricula and project activities to be carried out during the following U.S. academic year (September, 2003 to March 2004).
