On a cold and snowy December day it is a pleasure to sit back
and remember a hot, above average temperature, day in September when 128
golfers participated in CFDR's inaugural Corporate Golf Challenge raising
almost $50,000 for dietetic research.
Doryne Peace, President of CFDR and Bridget Davidson, Chair-Elect of DC
welcomed participants.
The research looked at parents' attitudes about the amount of fat in foods
their children eat, and demonstrated that the more people know about nutrition,
the healthier food choices they make.
The artistic plaque acknowledges their commitment to our mission.
We've also found that fundraising can have a lighter side, making it enjoyable
for all concerned.

Club tournament schedules and results, tavern menus and details on social
events will be included so you know the who, what, when and where of all
club activities.
Special messages and minutes from various committee meetings will also
be posted to help you stay current on club news.
This storage facility offers you, the member, the convenience of storing
your bag year round.
Just think how much more convenient it would be not to have to load and
unload that trunk every time you went to play.
This is where having an established USGA Handicap becomes very important.

discussed aspects of successful interview techniques.
A number of members invited guests to this session; we encourage Peel
Chapter's CGAs and students to continue to invite family, friends and
colleagues to our seminars.
In support of this statement, CGA Ontario Peel Chapter is collecting donations
for the Big Brothers & Sisters of Peel.

One of the things that will be debated (and there will be much debate!)
is an increase in our per member payment or PMP as we call it in League
lingo.
SB 261 makes the following modifications in law to address the budget
shortfall: 1) transfers from the rainy day fund $290 million in FY 02
and $170 million in FY 03 to the GRF; 2) increases the tobacco tax from
24 cents to 74 cents; 3) decouples Ohio's corporate franchise tax from
changes in federal law; 4) transfers rotary accounts of non-GRF funds
within state agency budgets to the GRF; 5) transfers $25 million in FY
02 from the unclaimed funds account to the GRF; 6) reduces funds earmarked
for homeland security; adjusts funding per the "Reed Act", and
makes other changes.
For a short time period, the League is offering a trial membership to
people who would like to check out our organization.

For beginner and intermediate teenage golfers, the Aldeen Teens will focus
on the fundamental techniques of putting, pitching, chipping and full
swings.
Specifically tailored for the senior golfer age 55 and over, these lessons
will involve all the basic shots with and emphasis on the needs of mature
