The RIP is a grant program that provides financial assistance for permanent building and site improvements.
The amount of City assistance is contingent upon meeting all of the minimum requirements (see page 4) and a number of project review criteria (see page 7.) Assistance is also contingent on the availability of funds.
The City grant is a percentage of all permanent improvements and cannot exceed $150,000 per property over a five-year period.
The project is consistent with the Comprehensive Plan and other existing area plans, like the Downtown Plan and East Side Plan.
If the applicant does not own the property, the applicant has the permission of the property owner.

What is the First Home Owners' Scheme?
The grant will compensate for price increases associated with the introduction of the Goods and Services Tax (GST) on 1 July 2000.
The grant will be paid to first home owners who enter into a binding contract on or after 1 July 2000 to buy an established home or construct a new home.
For owner builders, construction must commence on or after 1 July 2000.
Governments are aiming to help people purchase or build their first home through a $7,000 first home owners' grant.
Your eligibility could be affected if you buy land where the purchase is conditional on building a home, such as a "house and land" package deal.

D.1 New Awards D.1.1 Awards to NASA Centers A selected proposal from a NASA Center is funded directly by NASA Headquarters through a Research and Technology Operating Plan (RTOP) to the Center for administration.
D.1.2 Awards to Non-NASA Organizations A NASA award is signed only by a NASA Grant or Contracting Officer (hereafter called an "Award Officer" for the purposes of this Guidebook) and is addressed to the proposing institution.
NASA chooses the funding vehicle best suited for the project and the proposing institution.
This can be a grant, a contract, an interagency agreement, or a cooperative agreement.
In such cases, the proposer may request an augmentation to his/her grant by submitting a letter proposal to the cognizant program officer, with a copy to the Award Officer, that describes why the increase is needed, the impact to the selected investigation if the augmentation is not approved, and a budget for the augmentation authorized by signature of his/her institution.

This grant supported travel to Moscow, Russia to permit the grantee to further his research into the institutional development of the Russian State Duma, the country's national legislature.
Within this general argument about democratization is the more specific concern within the academic literature of the institutional balance between the executive and legislative branches of national government.
That is, inasmuch as there is in almost any political system (and especially in those that are not consolidated) an important gap between the formal or legal powers of political actors and those powers that are actually exercised, a strict reliance of the formal rules and regulations of the system (e.g., constitutional or legal documents) threatens to present a false or incomplete picture of the actor in question.
This research on the State Duma, then, is of a new legislature in an executive-dominated political system that is slowly moving away from its authoritarian past and toward at least a more pluralistic -- if not avowedly democratic -- politics.
civic center final http://www.ci.berkeley.ca.us/Auditor/pdf/civiccenterfinal.pdf
Audit test work was not performed to determine whether grant funds, or required matching funds, were used for unallowable expenditures.
A limited purpose audit was performed primarily to identify concerns with expenditure reimbursement requests, accounting records, and budget monitoring procedures, associated with the HMGP grant.
Although the audit did not include test work to identify unallowable expenditures, (See Audit Summary for more information about why this area was not audited), during the audit it came to our attention that $2.1 million in expenditures associated with the purchase of a building at 2344 Sixth Street and building improvements were mostly unallowable expenditures.
The methodology used to prepare this report is reasonable, lends itself to being easily updated, and allows financial oversight of the project to prevent overspending.
