There's the fear that if children play dress up as witches, ghosts and other such fantasy characters of the "dark side" they will actually be seduced by evil. Many parents are torn between wanting their children to have a fun and safe celebration, and the fear of what they perceive as evil about the holiday---after all, its origins are from a pagan harvest festival. On All Saints Day, which is the day following Halloween and a Catholic feast day, families can celebrate all of the saints in our lives and those who have come before.
