The Rosemeade Heights Neighborhood is three years old and is represented
by a mandatory homeowners association. The Rosemeade Heights Homeowner's
Association intends to make improvements to what many in the neighborhood
consider the neighborhood's main entrance - the west entrance of Seminole
Trail and Old Denton Road. Currently there is minimal planting at the site,
the right of way consisting of grass and three existing live oak trees north
of Seminole Trail. Rosemeade Heights proposes to add improvements to their
western neighborhood entry, thus promoting a distinctive identity and a
positive image for the neighborhood. Proposal: This is the primary gateway
to the subdivision and the neighborhood proposes to improve it by installing
landscapingand a drip irrigation system. Landscapingin this case includes
8 - 3" live oak trees and 3 - 3" redbud

It is the intent of this Article to encourage creativity in landscapedesign
while providing general direction and criteria for the evaluation of landscapeplans,
planting plans and alternative landscapeplans. Natural LandscapesLandscapedesigns
should incorporate and enhance existing natural landscapesand existing specimen
trees and native vegetation (including canopy, understory, and ground cover).
Spacing of key landscapingcomponents, such as trees and shrubs, should be
consistent with the overall design approach of the landscapeplan. Landscapedesigns
should be compatible with and enhance the architectural character and features
of the buildings on site, and help relate the building to the surrounding
