YELLOWKNIFE (October 17, 2002) - Michael Brown has been playing LOTTO 6/49 for years without ever winning a major prize.
Michael's ticket for the October 16th draw -- which he shared with his mother, Sophie, in Ontario --matched five numbers and the Bonus winning $91,678.20!
"The tickets were lying on the table and my wife asked if she could check them," Michael remembered.
Michael and Sophie's LOTTO 6/49 Quick Pick ticket was purchased from Sport North, located at 5022-49 Street in Yellowknife.
"Mom will use her share for traveling and helping out her six grandchildren," he continued.
