Georgia Academic Decathlon
LearnStar, competition, Academic Decathlon, technology, schools, Super Quiz, students, nationwide, USAD, state finals.
Held in Atlanta, Georgia, the LearnStar-enhanced Super Quiz proved to be the exciting and challenging event USAD is known for across the country.
This year's state finals included 199 students representing teams from 23 schools across the state.
The final event of the competition, the Super Quiz Relay, allowed every member of each participating school's nine-student team the opportunity to answer five questions in a timed relay format.
The company is a member of the Intel Model Schools Program, which donated a combined $4 million in hardware and software to its first two Model Schools in October 2002.
LearnStar's system is currently being used in hundreds of schools nationwide and has a proven track record for increasing standardized test scores, improving knowledge retention and motivating students.
