For the purposes of accreditation & certification the following classes are required for a Music Major, but not scheduled above: MU NI, NV, NP -- Applied Lessons; MU N10-N15 -- Musical Ensembles; MU 101-- Piano Lab. EN/HU/MU 344 -- Musical Theatre; EN/HU/MU 345 -- Theatre. If you decide to take courses out of sequence, you must realize that you may not be able to meet requirements to graduate on time.

A Musical Composition consists of music, including any accompanying words, and is normally registered in Class PA. A musical composition may be in the form of a notated copy (for example, sheet music) or in the form of a phonorecord (for example, cassette tape, LP, or CD). Sending a musical composition in the form of a phonorecord does not necessarily mean that there is a claim to copyright in the sound recording. NOTE: Copyright Office fees are subject to change.
