zodiac fantasy rpg is A simple role-playing game set in a mythical fantasy world

The siderealists maintain that the zodiac is a real thing --- an archetype that exists independent of anybody's opinion about it.

The astrological zodiac is a reference system that locates the Sun, the Moon and the solar system planets in space relative to the earth.

Where does the almighty resides among these stars, planets and galaxies?

These 27 constellations are known as the 27 Nakshatras, which are 300 to 400 light years away from earth.

As seen from the Earth, Venus (like the other planets) travels from west to east in the order of the Zodiac signs in its orbit around the Sun.

6. Place the remaining Zodiac signs as shown on P 10.

While the roots of our Western astrology are Northern the essence of the signs remain true to those who experience them then south of the Equator.

I think it's useful to give a brief explanation of my comments by relating it to the astrology, and -- I hope -- to help bring the planets in your chart alive.

In the Vedic (Hindu) system of Astrology, known in Sanskrit as Jyotish, the 27 constellations and not the 12 star-signs are the key to understanding celestial influences on our planet.http://www.padminilight.com/articles/the_secret_of_vedic_astrology_nakshatra.pdf. These 27 constellations are known as the 27 Nakshatras, which are 300 to 400 light years away from earth. Based on a person’s moon Nakshatra at the time of birth, Jyotish offers a most powerful predictive technique compared to other forms of astrology. The term “Nakshatra,” when broken down into its constituent parts: “naks” meaning “sky” and “shetra” meaning “region”, translate into “Sky Map.” Both meanings clearly show that in the eyes of the ancient Vedic (Indian) seers the 27 Nakshatras (constellations) and not the 12 zodiacal star-signs map the sky. It was the Moon that ancient people first looked to for calculating time and connecting to the stars. ‘Nakshatras’ is the name given to the constellations or mansions of the Moon, as the Moon resides in each of these constellations for one day. The system of constellations is very ancient, dating back more than 5,000 years as they were referred to in the oldest Veda (Hindu’s scripture). These lunar mansions appear in Chinese and Arabic astrology but have not received much attention in Western or European astrology. Each of the 27 Nakshatras consists of 13º and 20 minutes of the zodiac. Multiplying this length by 27 equals the entire zodiacal belt of 360 degrees. The Nakshatra and the signs of the zodiac both begin from the same point. The planets make their impact on the zodiacal field. Prakriti (the female creative impulse) is the force that sustains the general background of the zodiac. ...

The Hermetic Cross, which is also called Fylfot, Hammer of Thor and Swastika, is formed of 17 Squares out of a Square of 25 lesser squares.http://www.osogd.org/PDFs/BTzelator.pdf. This Drawing of the Flaming Sword of the Kerubim is a representation of the Guardians of the Tree; just as the Hiereus and Hegemon symbolize the Two Paths of Light and Darkness. The Outer-most walls of the Temple are twelve-fold and they are formed by the Girdle of Nuit This drawing before you represents their occult meaning. The 12 circles are the 12 signs of the Zodiac, while the Lamp in the center is symbolic of the Sun, which is the source of heat and life. The Four Triangles whose twelves angles touch one of the 12 circles are those of Fire, Earth, Air and Water and allude to the four Triplicities of the Zodiacal Signs. The Triangle inscribed within each of the 12 circles alludes to the 3 Decanates, or phases of ten degrees of each sign. Know that the 22 sounds and letters of the Hebrew Alphabet are the foundation of all things. Three Mothers, Seven Doubles and Twelve Simples. The Twelve Simple letters are allotted to the 12 directions in space, and those diverge to Infinity and are in the Arms of the Eternal. These Twelve Letters so designed and combined form the Twelve Celestial Constellations of the Zodiac and they are also the Girdle of Nuit. They are about the Universe as a Sovereign enthroned. They are in the revolution of the Year as Sovereigns traversing their Dominions, and they are in the heart of All as a Sovereign in Combat. And the twelve Scales are the images of those ideas; while within are the the Four Archangels ruling over the ...

Lunar Notes is a free monthly e-Newsletter that discusses the cycle of the Moon as well as the symbolism of the New and Full Moon, Eclipses and other significant planetary aspects during the upcoming month.http://www.karmicastrology.tv/images/issue_27.pdf. Key Phrase for Virgo is “I ANALYZE” The sign of Virgo rules how we process and analyze and digest information (the intestines), mental faculties, and the 6th house of the natural zodiac. Virgo’s can be rather discriminating, perfectionist and critical (on the negative side), will easily adhere to routine tasks at hand and are known for their ability to analyze and categorize. This mutable (changeable) earth (grounded) sign is one of the most sensual signs of the zodiac and is rather fond of all that implies. If you want to get the job done on time and right the first time around, hire a Virgo. Virgo’s love to help out and being of service to another is their greatest joy. The integration of romance and children versus independence, individuality, friendships and associations are some areas of life for Leo, also contingent upon other areas of the birth chart. When under stress each sign will operate through the most negative characteristics of their polar opposite….the sign 180 degrees opposite itself. In Virgo, ruled by the Mercury the messenger, and the 6th sign of the zodiac, you may want to focus on your thoughts and ideas, enhance communication, your health, small pets and people who work for you. Since Aries is the first sign of the zodiac, focusing on your self, your presentation, and outer appearance my be your focus and will culminate during this full moon. The basis of these symbols is derived from the 360 ...

The report that you are about to read is a first step in decoding the symbolic language of your birth chart.http://www.artcharts.com/catalog/samples/pro_natal_tony_blair.pdf. It explains the raw materials that you have been given for building a life. The general distribution of planets around you at your birth is one of the things that shows the overall shape of your personality. Independent and outwardly directed, you are conscious of the direction in which you lead your life. Joining forces with someone as strong-minded as you may cause the kind of stress that will distract you from your goals. Make all possible allowances for practicality; and then go ahead and pursue your vision. You tend to identify who you are with what you have accomplished in the world. Because of your ability to remain detached and objective, you are a fair-minded judge of most situations. You may feel that an emotional response like crying or moodiness is a sign of weakness that is best avoided. You may find it difficult to deal with those who express themselves from the heart. Soften up and bend your beliefs a bit so you can serve those in need, for this is where happiness lies. When you let yourself go and dive into emotional waters, you may find that the humanity that has always been in your heart is drawn out into your personal world of expression. You can get a further idea of their importance in your particular chart by going to the aspect table at the beginning of this report and finding the five or so aspects with the smallest number of degrees and minutes in the “The orb is” column. The meanings of the twelve houses echo those of the twelve zodiacal signs, but are more specific and concrete. For ...

Perhaps you’ve noticed at times that certain aspects in a chart or by transit are seemingly much more powerful than others for no apparent reason.http://www.sfaa.us/images/BrockPlanetaryDeclinations.pdf. The answer is in understanding Declination, and I find it amazing how few astrologers know anything about them. As I was first learning Astrology from my teacher, Robert Ball, back in the early 1970’s in Coral Gables, Florida, I learned to look up the planetary positions in the Zodiac as we all have. I looked at my ephemeris and noted the positions of the sun, moon, mercury and all the rest. Robert Ball always had us using the “Simplified Scientific Ephemeris” by The Rosicrucian Fellowship. They’re printed mostly in the ten year sized books. Not very space efficient, but complete, and that’s what we used. The Longitude of the planets is the position in the Zodiac as we commonly think of them. The ancients noticed that the Sun’s regular path and the planets general motion was in the same band of stars that were recognized as the constellations we today know as the Zodiac. astrologers are familiar with, however the Zodiac was decided upon as being significant because the Sun, and the Planets in general, moved through this band of stars. These degrees around the circle of the Zodiac are the degrees of Longitude. The “Signs” of the Zodiac are distinguished from the “Constellations” of the Zodiac because of the shifting of the position of the “Vernal” equinox, which is what, we who use the Tropical system use to define the beginning of Aires. This circle intersects the Zodiac (the ecliptic) at the Vernal equinox (0 degrees Aries) and at the Autumnal equinox ...

Though each of these different areas poses unique environmental challenges, the USAP abides by safety requirements and waste handling and environmental protection policies that are standard throughout the program. In addition, much of the equipment that the USAP issues to researchers is the same at all locations. Many chapters contain information on the equipment you will be issued, some of which is very specific to polar work. Start with polypropylene underwear, no cotton (cotton clothing gets wet and stays wet; it is dangerous in the cold). You need a clothing system that allows you to shed layers quickly and easily before you get damp from perspiration. Cotton is a poor choice because it absorbs water and holds the water next to your skin where it will cool you off. Others prefer the HH gear while working in particularly wet conditions on land such as in penguin colonies where conditions can get rather sloppy. Exactly thus located zodiacal signs (relative to the equinox of the 2nd century CE) could give matching names to the corresponding areas of the starry sky.. The house cusps on the conventional zodiacal circle are projections of the zodiac generated by the Earth onto the solar zodiac. The basis of our conception is a zodiac model for a born that is in the vicinity of a massive body. It is exactly the relative insignificance of these deviations that has given a static character to their geometries and thus allowed ancient astronomers to formulate the concept of a zodiac using only elementary geometric constructions. It is likely that this characteristic is exactly what prevented a comprehensive quantitative description of this zodiac in antiquity, though some steps were taken in this direction. By local planetary nodes we understand the longitudinal positions of the two crossing points of the equator of the corresponding planetary zodiac with the local equator of the zodiac under consideration. The zodiacal longitudinal coordinates converge to the spherical longitudinal coordinates of the local equatorial coordinate system as the dynamic angle approaches zero. In traditional astrology these areas are called houses when projecting the terrestrial zodiac onto the solar one (the sections between 2 subsequent house cusps32), or signs of the Zodiac for the solar zodiac when the reference point is taken as the crossing of the celestial equator and the ecliptic. What was written above about the structure and geometry of the zodiac of a massive body is very close to the structure and geometry of the terrestrial zodiac. While the ...

The theory we wish to set forth in this article is aimed at clarifying the relationship between the constitution of man and the prevailing zodiacal configuration at the time of birth.http://www.crucible.org/PDF_Files/Cell_Salts_and_Astrology.pdf. Each sign of the zodiac is represented by the twelve functions of the body and position of the sun at birth. Therefore the cell salt corresponding with the sign of the zodiac (and the function of the body identified with that sign} is consumed more rapidly than other salts and needs an extra amount to supply or replenish the deficiency, which was caused by the suns influence at birth. We know that the human embryo remains nine months in the female laboratory, thus falling three months short of completing a solar or soul year of twelve months. Twelve represents the circle and stands for completion. To acquire the wisdom that will enable an individual to build a bridge across the three month gap, or space between the point of conception or birth, is the one real problem that confronts the ego on the material plane of expression. The twelve inorganic mineral cell salts in the human body correspond in vibration to the twelve signs of the zodiac. During the nine months of gestation, the embryo receives and appropriates the creative energies of nine of these salts, leaving three to be supplied after the parting of the umbilical cord. These three form what we call the Bridge. The particular trinity of cell salts involved depends of course, on the individual’s sun sign, and we maintain that is as far as the circulatory system receives these builders, that health will be balanced and life prolonged. To conclude this valuable information ...

The projection of this field onto a planar surface creates a matrix of twelve cen-ters surrounding a 13th central point reminis-cent of the twelve signs of the zodiac centered on the central focus of the Solar or Cosmic Christ.. The relationship between these centers demonstrates the esoteric ray rulerships of the twelve signs as given in Esoteric Astrology by the Tibetan teacher Djwhal Khul, and also con-tains the nested relationships between the five platonic solids of antiquity. The symmetry discovered in these astrological sign rulerships offers possible hints of the importance of Aquarius and its special association with the in-coming 7th Ray. created with each heart beat since the heart is the strongest magnetic field generator in our bodies. This heart field can be visualized in various ways including a toroidal field, as well as through various Platonic solids. Intuitive research carried out over several years in the field of energy medicine and subtle energy healing has led us to recognize an important resonance of the heart field with the dodecahe-dron, a Platonic solid with twelve pentagonal faces. As the heart chakra (anahata) contains twelve petals made of subtle energy matter, the heart field also has a direct connection with the twelve signs of the zodiac. In addition, there is also a small heart chakra with twelve petals located within the crown chakra (sahasrara) located at the top of the head. The laws associated with the process of pre-cipitation, as described in Rule Thirteen in Al-ice Bailey’s A Treatise on White Magic, may involve the visualization of geometrical sym-bols. Many Biblical Astronomer readers are familiar with a notion vari-ously called “the gospel in the stars,” or “the witness of the stars.http://www.geocentricity.com/constellations/intro.pdf.” Over the past dozen decades, several Christian authors and leaders, among whom the most stellar is Dr. D. James Kennedy, have promoted these ideas in print. Invariably, their books are based on the works of Ethelbert Bullinger1 and Joseph Seiss.2 Neither of these two works is original. Both are based on Frances Rolleston’s monumental tome, Mazzaroth or, the Constellations.3 Regrettably, Mrs. Rolleston died before finishing her research. At the time of her death she was investigating constellation and star names in some very ancient works and archaeological finds. Still, that leaves us with three complete parts and a partial fourth. Throughout most if not all of the twentieth century, professional astronomers considered Richard Allen’s Star-Names and Their Meanings to be the definitive work on constellation and star names.4 Allen’s re-search goes back to the times of Seneca and Virgil, that is, roughly the time of Christ. He concludes that most of the Arabic names were taken from Greek, namely, that the Arabs, starting in the eighth century, adopted many of the Greek names by translating them into Arabic. Allen was aware of more ancient finds from the Fertile Crescent, leastwise, appar-ently more ancient than the time of Christ. Insofar as the Chinese litera-ture goes, most if not all of Allen’s names date no earlier than the seventh century B.C. The decans were divided into twelve groups of three each, and each group of three was associated with one of the constellations ...

If you study astrology for any length of time, you are bound to come across the term “collective unconscious”, and the name C.http://www.astromundi.com/downloads/Inana.pdf.G. Jung will also come to your attention before too long. Jung claimed that myths give us this universal connection, as the stories from differing cultures, time periods, and regions of the earth, were startlingly similar. This controversial psychologist whose work explored mythology’s loss to the modern world, claimed myths sprang from the primitive tribes’ mentality as a living religion; the savage did not invent myths, but that it experienced myth constantly in its physical and spiritual form. The so-called savage lived myth at a broader social, communal and political level as well as experiencing it on a deeply personal and spiritual level. Jung believed so strongly in the power of myth he claimed that man’s drift away from the need to incorporate myth into our lives is much more responsible for modern neuroses, than the more popular belief of his time in Freudian theories of sexual maladjustment. The more science explains our world with ‘logic’, the further we alienate ourselves from primitive thought, and so we are inclined to scoff at ancient ritual and superstition. Jung first coined the phrase ‘perils of the soul’, and perhaps this is the risk we take when we become disconnected from the collective experience. One only has to look at the huge box-office takings of successful movies to see that myth lives on. The key to their success is their ability to recreate the wonder of myth. Nor is their success purely measured in terms of pecuniary reward, the aim is also to create a ‘classic’ : a ...
